Description

Dr. Edelstein earned her Bachelor's Degree at the University of Southern California and her Doctorate in Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency at UCLA Medical Center, where her honors included Resident of the Year. UCLA is consistently rated one of America's best hospitals (#3 in the country) and it ranks #5 in the United States for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders (US News and World Report's 2009 Best Hospital Rankings). She was selected to be Chief Resident before completing her fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology at UCLA Medical Center. She received the Physician of the Year award at UCLA Medical Center in 2002.
